medipeds.net is the catalogue of MediPeds. It is a place to read how a sock is knitted, how many pairs come in a packet, which shoe sizes it is cut for and what it costs, before you buy it. It is not a shop till.

Where the sale happens

Payment, delivery and returns happen at checkout with our retail partner, not on this site. They set the price you pay, they hold the stock, they ship it, and their returns policy is the one that applies to the parcel.

How to read a price here

A figure on this site is the one from our last catalogue update, and it can move between updates. Where the two disagree, the till is right. A pack with no live offer does not carry a stale number: it leaves the site at the next build and comes back when it is on sale again. How the figures are refreshed is set out on how we update the catalogue.

What a sock here is, and is not

Nothing on this site is medical advice. A sock is a sock: a non-binding top and a smooth toe seam are ways of knitting a cuff and a seam, not a treatment, and nothing here diagnoses, prevents or relieves anything. If your feet have lost feeling, if a sore is not healing, or if a doctor has asked you to wear a fitted compression stocking, that conversation belongs with them and not with a catalogue.

The over-the-calf socks in this catalogue are sold as a mild everyday compression, bought off a shelf. They are not the graduated compression stockings a clinician fits and follows up: MedlinePlus sets out what those are for, how they should feel and why the choice is made with a provider. If you were sent for a pair, this catalogue is not where that ends.

Sizes and fit

A shoe-size range on a card is the one our own product data states, and a range covers a spread of feet: a sock cut for men 7-12 fits differently at each end of it. A calf measurement is not printed on most of these packets, and where it is not, we do not invent one. Nothing here is a promise that a particular sock will fit a particular leg.

What a photograph shows

The photographs show the sock as it is photographed on white, laid flat or on a form. White under studio light and the same white in a hallway are not the same white, and no screen settles that argument. Panels with feature callouts printed into the picture are not published here.
